Court House Assistance Project Volunteer (Augusta)

Family legal matters can be overwhelming for many, particularly as they enter the legal system. Student or Community Volunteers are needed to assist attorneys and the court by being the point of contact for walk-in clients, interviewing them to determine initial eligibility, establishing the prime questions to be addressed with the attorneys, and assisting with the completion of certain court forms.

The Volunteer Lawyers Project runs the Courthouse Assistance Project in theAugusta District Court on Wednesdays, 12:30- 4 PM. Volunteer with the VLP and gain knowledge of the legal system, learn translatable skills, and make a difference in your community!
