CHANGE SOMEONE'S LIFE FROM YOUR COUCH! Did you know that donating just a few hours of your time on zoom can change a life? At Anixter's Adult Literacy Program, we make this possible! Our Jack Ehrlich Literacy Program provides individualized, one-on-one tutoring for adults with disabilities to improve their literacy skills - free of charge. Through our literacy program, we've given individuals the tools they need to reach their personal goals. And we need more tutors! Here's a quote from Maureen, one of our angelic tutors: "It's a wonderfully rewarding experience where you develop a relationship with the person. It's a give and take, but I get as much from my learner as I try to give. You'll get back satisfaction, reward, and warmth from meeting another person who is so interested and looks forward to meeting with you. The people you'll work with are the most giving and appreciative. With flexible scheduling, virtual options, built-in resources, and meaningful relationships, what isn't there to love?
