About this Opportunity
Welcome Desk volunteers help make our visitors feel welcome. They help at the welcome desk, answering phones, greeting visitors, handing out trail maps and answering visitor questions. They also register participants for programs, answer questions about facility rentals, tidy the nature center and help with other tasks as needed. Welcome Desk volunteers generally work four hours a week, either year-round or seasonally.
Volunteers work a weekly schedule, coming in the same day and time each week. Our working hours are between 9am-5pm Monday through Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturdays. Currently there are open shifts on Saturdays and some week days. Volunteer interviews are conducted during normal weekday hours.
