ReStore Volunteer

Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to building affordable housing and providing essential resources to families in need. Our ReStore is a retail outlet that sells donated home improvement items, furniture, and building materials. All proceeds from the ReStore directly support Truman Habitat's mission of creating safe and affordable homes for local families. As a ReStore Volunteer Associate, you will play a vital role in the success of our store adn the fulfillment of our mision. Volunteers assist with various tasks to ensure the ReStore operates smoothly, provides excellent customer service, and maintains an organized, welcoming environment for shoppers.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with their purchases, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Product Handling: Receive, sort, and price donated items; ensure products are displayed attractively and organized by category.

Sales Floor Maintenance: Replenish stock, clean shelves, and ensure the sales floor is tidy and visually appealing. Donation Processing: Help unload, inspect, and prepare donations for sale; maintain inventory accuracy.

Schedule: Volunteers are needed during our store hours Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-3pm, with flexible shifts available. We welcome individuals who can commit to a few hours per week or more.
