About this Opportunity
Heart to Heart Hospice is looking for downriver community members to join our team of volunteers. You can help to make a difference in your community by spending quality time with one of our patients. Visiting with our patients on a weekly or bi-weekly basis can increase their quality of life during their finals days. Your visits can provide friendship, compassion, and distraction from their prognosis.Activities that clients might enjoy are being read to, watching television together, talking about who and where they’ve been, their families, hearing about your day, playing cards, and so much more. Most importantly, we are looking for volunteers to provide their time, talent, and to have compassion and empathy. Heart to Heart serves Allen Park, Canton, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Southgate, Taylor, Westland, Ypsilanti and beyond.
