About this Opportunity
YOU DON’T HAVE TO SWING A HAMMER TO HELP HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BUILD HOMES. ReStore Arlington Heights is a resale store of new and gently used Furniture, Home Accessories, Appliances and Building Materials with all proceeds going to fund Habitat for Humanity in our area.
Volunteers are needed to support all of the reselling efforts to increase these proceeds. Volunteer tasks are focused on our mission to make sure that "Everybody deserves a decent place to live!"
Shifts: Serve as little as every other week for 3 to 4 hours. Training: "NEW TO RESTORE ORIENTATION" is held once a month to give you all you need to know to get started. On your 1 st day you work with Volunteer Mentor.
Court ordered Community Service: ReStore accepts those individuals that need to complete 30 hours or more. Must serve at least 2 - four hour shifts per month.
