Volunteers at Methodist Charlton Medical Center are a vital part of the hospital's mission to improve and save lives through compassionate quality health care.
A few examples of volunteer opportunities are: Information Desks, Transportation, Surgery Waiting Room and the Breast Center.
You can learn new skills, use existing skills and meet new friends while providing important services to our staff, patients and their families. The rewards for volunteering are:

Please note the following requirements:
Must complete an application, criminal background check, health screening and orientation.
Must commit to volunteering one 4-hour shift per week and a minimum of 100 services hours.
All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
Available shifts are 8:00am to 12:00pm and 12:00pm to 4:00pm daily Monday through Friday. Limited weekend shifts are available.
Must have a positive attitude to help patients and families feel more at ease as they enter and exit the hospital.
No “cuddler” program for the Nursery is available at this time.
