About this Opportunity
Did you serve (or currently serve) in the Military? What about sharing your experience with a fellow veteran and honor their service in a pinning ceremony? You pin the veteran and present them with a certificate honoring their service. Depending on the situation, the veteran may have their family, friends and our staff there. Each situation is different, and the pinning is only conducted if the veteran wants it. Sometimes you can even help track down a ribbon or medal for the veteran.
Contact CJ Pharr, Volunteer Coordinator for CO Palliative and Hospice Care for more information. We have opportunities for pinning ceremonies or spending time one-on-one with a veteran or multiple veterans. It's flexible and we'll work with your schedule.
