About this Opportunity
Goal of position: To assist the Facilities Department in grounds maintenance and mowing.
The activities you will be involved with will mainly consist of mowing grass, but may also include cleaning trail areas, trimming shrubs and trees and rake, mulch, and water the grounds.
Other Responsibilities: Aid and assist the Facilities Department in their daily work duties. Demonstrate respect and appreciation for artifacts, equipment, and livestock. Position will require work to be done in a variety of weather elements. Most tasks will require some level of physical strength however tasks will be matched to your capabilities. Create a friendly atmosphere and maintain a good attendance record. Familiarize yourself with the operation of Living History Farms. General cleaning - cleaning windows, sweeping floors, walking grounds for trash/litter removal and vacuuming.
