Family Caregiver Support Program

Position Overview: Lived experience as a caregiver brings valuable insight and compassion to others navigating similar paths. Volunteers with the Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP) play a meaningful role in supporting fellow caregivers caring for older adults or grandchildren through connection, shared understanding, and problem-solving. Volunteers may offer a listening ear, assist with special events, help lead support groups, or work with caregivers to brainstorm and implement solutions tailored to their unique needs. The time commitment is flexible and will be tailored to each volunteer’s interests, availability, and preferred level of involvement. Volunteers also have the option to contribute either in person or remotely, depending on what works best for them.
