About this Opportunity
Provide a meal for CARE House of Oakland County's Family Support Group! Every Tuesday evening, families who have experienced sexual abuse and neglect come together at CARE House for group therapy and healing. You can be a vital part of their journey by providing a warm, nourishing meal-offering comfort and connection before the session even begins.
By providing, preparing, and serving dinner, you allow families to focus on healing without the added stress of planning a meal.
This is a wonderful opportunity for work groups, church groups, NHS members, or individuals who enjoy cooking and want to give back in a meaningful way. Meals are served at 5:30 PM on Tuesdays at CARE House, and volunteers can use our fully equipped kitchen on-site to prepare food, or bring prepared foods that are ready-to-eat.
Your support helps create a welcoming, supportive environment for families on their path to healing.
