About this Opportunity
Help cancer patients in your community get to life-saving medical appointments.Volunteers with Road To Recovery use their personal vehicle to drive patients with limited or no transportation to cancer-related treatment appointments. Rides are weekdays. You choose the rides that work with your schedule. Drivers are encouraged to provide a minimum of 2 rides per month.Volunteer drivers are ages 18-84 with a safe driving record,a current license,a reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance.
Volunteers interested must complete online training and a background check. Volunteers review available rides via an online scheduling tool. We would love your help! Connect here &/or check out cancer.org/drive to get started on training.
