Are you looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others? Do you have a compassionate heart and would like to give back to your community? Then we invite you to join the Unity Hospice Volunteer Team, where you can bring comfort and peace to those in need. We currently need volunteers near Homewood, Oak Lawn, Country Club Hills, Bridgeport, Tinley Park and Chicago Every moment matters and our volunteers play a vital role in providing compassionate care and emotional support to our patients and their families. Whether it's offering a listening ear, reading a book or sharing a caring smile while holding their hands, your presence can make a world of difference.
If visits aren't for you, we can also use Administrative support at the office or you can become a Craft volunteer, where you can make cards, lap blankets, fidget mats and many other things that can help make our patients feel special. Every act of kindness can provide so much comfort and joy.
