About this Opportunity
In the event of a community disaster, the Red Cross may need to open a shelter and will need trained individuals to respond and help those who need a safe place to stay. In such an event, licensed medical professionals may be needed to administer basic medical care or assist with other medical needs of clients affected by the disaster. Doctors, nurses, EMTs and other credentialed individuals can apply for this volunteer opportunity allowing you to help families impacted by a disaster in your community or even elsewhere in our region.
