About this Opportunity
Impact Arts Council is partnering with the Burkett Center in Morris, Alabama to launch a school-year arts program for students with significant disabilities. We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help make this program a success.
What You'll Do: Support students during arts-based activities, assist the lead instructor, and help create a positive, inclusive environment. No formal art experience is needed - just reliability, compassion, and a willingness to learn.
Commitment:
Approximately 24 school-day sessions spread across the 2025–2026 school year.
Scheduled in advance during regular school hours.
Mandatory volunteer training in August.
Stipend awarded upon successful completion of the program.
This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of students through creative engagement and consistent support.
