About this Opportunity
The flagship AARP Smart Driver course is the nation’s largest classroom and online driver safety course and is designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. Over 16 million participants have gone through AARP Driver Safety classroom and online courses, taught by more than 4,000 AARP Driver Safety volunteers. Instructors conduct AARP Driver Safety Program courses in a classroom setting.
As an unpaid volunteer, you will actively organize, promote and conduct courses in accordance with AARP guidelines. Conduct at least 3 classes annually. Recruit host locations for courses and with work with state volunteers to identify teaching assignments. Reimbursement for AARP expenses coverage by AARP insurance while conducting AARP business. Eligible for participation in the national AARP recognition and rewards program.
