About this Opportunity
DOROT's Intergenerational Programming brings together older adults (65+) and youths (18 and under) for mutually meaningful programming. From one-time events to multi-session commitments, our intergenerational programs have spanned small format conversations, hands-on artmaking, chess, group theater, and more.
Youths have often cited the experience of coming together across generations as a deeply moving, sometimes life-altering, opportunity. The discovery of shared life-experiences, as is the holding of differences, become the critical foundation of generations helping generations. All programming is free of charge.
