About this Opportunity
Volunteer Public Guardians make a profound difference to benefit the life of highly vulnerable adults. When a person cannot legally make safe choices for themselves and have no others to help them in making decisions, a Volunteer Public Guardian steps in to help. Volunteer Guardians receive education, training, and ongoing mentoring from the OPG program. Volunteers develop a rapport and a working relationship with the clients when visiting at least once per month.
