About this Opportunity

New Pathways for Youth serves youth who have experienced extreme poverty and at least 3 major childhood traumas such as abuse, neglect, mental illness, substance abuse in the home, and/or family member incarceration.

Despite their experiences, every young person has the qualities within themselves to reach their goal, decide their path with confidence, and live a life with joy and purpose. With the help of 1:1 volunteer mentors, New Pathways guides youth in their exploration and growth. In partnership with volunteer mentors, New Pathways enables youth to reach incredible outcomes and break the cycle of poverty for their families.

We are actively recruiting all adults to match with youth, but we are in the greatest need for MEN who are willing to step up to the challenge to be a positive force for the boys in our program. If you are a caring and committed adult and you're curious, please attend one of our upcoming Mentor Introduction sessions on Zoom to learn more.
