About this Opportunity
Volunteers are at the core of how we serve kids in Phoenix Family's after-school program (HIKE).Our greatest need for volunteers is for folks to help kids struggling to read. You don't need to be an expert teacher. You do need a deep belief in the kids we serve and an eagerness to learn together. Volunteers will work one-on-one with kids in grades K-8 who are struggling with reading. We'll provide all the training and support you need. We prepare the lesson plan and activities; you just come and build confidence, encourage, and have fun!
