About this Opportunity
Help make our blood donors feel appreciated and cared for after their donation! You'll help run our café area by thanking donors, serving beverages and snacks, and monitoring donor well-being post donation. We are looking for help at our donors centers across the state of Rhode Island and at our mobile blood drives at businesses, organizations, and colleges, and high schools (days and times will vary) throughout Rhode Island and the South Coast of Massachusetts.
Duties: Set up and/or take down of café area. Host café area by offering drinks and snacks to donors. Replenish/stock café area. Observe blood donors for reactions and slow recovery. Alert staff if donor has a reaction. Thank the blood donor for their time. Keep café area clean and tidy.
