About this Opportunity
Do you have a kind heart? Do you enjoy interacting with others? Do you like playing cards or board games? Do you enjoy the outdoors? If you answered yes; you might be a great fit as a patient companion volunteer with Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice. As a patient companion volunteer, you sit with an assigned hospice patient providing emotional support, active listening and companionship. There is no "hands on care" in this volunteer role. Often times, the volunteer is providing a much needed break for the patient's primary caregiver.
We provide all the training, you provide the heart.
