About this Opportunity

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to assist in our monthly community pantry held every 4th Thursday of the month. The pantry is open from 4-5:30pm, but volunteers would be needed from 3-6pm. Our pantry primarily serves refugees and immigrants from the Burma community, in which we focus on providing culturally-appropriate food items that are not found in other pantries.

Tasks include:

  • Set-up/Clean-up
  • Food distribution
  • Line control

Qualifications:

  • Must pass a background check
  • Have a passion to give back to immigrant and refugee communities
  • Fluent in English required; Fluent in a Burma language/dialect is highly preferred
  • Be comfortable in lifting up to 20lbs
