Have you been hoping to practice your public speaking skills, meetpeople from allwalks of life, and support affordable homeownership? We would love to have you join us as a volunteer!
1-2 hours, with weekly opportunities availableyear-around(2-4 volunteers needed)

Table/Represent Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity at community events
Share Information on Habitats mission and programs
Volunteershould be comfortable utilizing volunteer registrationsystemon mobile, should be comfortable public speaking, be punctual, and have reliable transportation
Shouldbe comfortable indifferent typesof weather and uneven ground (construction sites).
Training:2-hourorientation on Habitat & Volunteer Tasks,1 hour onsite shadowing ofcheck inprocess& welcome
Location:Various locations within Polk, Dallas & Jasper counties, locations change weekly
Habitat Staff:Supported by Director of Volunteer Engagement & Communications Director
