Power Read Lead Volunteer (PRL Volunteer)

Are you looking for a fun way to make a difference in your community? Do you like to read with kids? Make new friends who share your desire to inspire? Everybody Wins! Iowa is searching for charismatic Power Read Lead Volunteers!

This volunteer roleserves as aliaison between school staff, students, mentors, and Everybody Wins! Iowa, as well as leads the school site's Power Read program. We are seeking individuals who have:

• A strong desire to make a difference in our community
• The ability to work with and coordinating volunteers
• Good organizational and project management skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills required and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google systems preferred
• And the ability to pass all background checks

PRL volunteers will support one school to start, but more can be added depending on your availability. Most schools will need approximately 90 minutes of support each week. School schedules vary, but hours are primarily between 9 AM - 1 PM Monday - Friday. Schools and schedule can be found on the website: www.everybodywinsiowa.org.
