DISCOVER the WILD DAY Volunteer Opportunities

DISCOVER the WILD Days at the Zoo! The purpose of these days is to connect the Zoo guest with the Zoo's SAVING the WILD conservation proiority animals, conservation organzations, AZA, and how to TAKE ACTION for the natural world around them. These days are planned and coordinated by the Zoo's Education Team. Activities are simple, interactive and can be learned the day of the event. Shifts are from 9:45 - 12:00 & 11:45 - 2:00. Volunteers ages 9 and up are wecolmed -

** Volunteers under the age of 13 MUST have an adult chaperone signed up with them.

• June 21 - Giraffes
• July 16 - Iowa
• August 20 - Lemurs
• September 20 - Red Pandas
• October 12 - Vultures
• November 8 - Turtles
• December 28 - Cotton-top Tamarins
