About this Opportunity
The Historic Preservation Commission identifies, promotes and safeguards Dubuques historical, cultural, environmental and aesthetic resourcesfor enjoyment of the community.Staff support the Commission with exterior design review; evaluation, nomination and registration of historic properties; and public outreach.Thehistoric preservation programis a critical economic development tool for Dubuque and the Commission plays an important role. Meetings are held at 5:30pm on the third Thursday of each month at the Historic Federal Building. Members are appointed to 3 year terms. Members must live within Dubuque city limits.
