For anyone who has ever needed help and didnt know where to turn,211 is a guiding light for finding resources such as food, rental assistance, shelter, help paying utility bills, finding child care, and so much more. Working with 211 Virginia gives volunteers a way to connect to those in the darkness of lifes uncertainties, and provide a helping hand to get them through their current challenges.

211 Virginia volunteers have the flexibility to operate from their own home while reaching across the state to anyone in need throughout the Commonwealth. Through extensive training, volunteers will learn from an AIRS accredited agency about the many facets of the Health and Human Services sector and Information and Referral standards, all while gaining experience in public service, learning call center and customer service skills, and having a lasting impact on people in need.
