About this Opportunity

Volunteering with Prince William County's Office of Historic Preservation is an opportunity to follow a passion for history while helping out in your community!

You will experience amazing opportunities and go behind the scenes of local historic sites. Our Junior Preservationists work with historians and historic interpreters doing many of the same jobs performed by adult volunteers with consideration for age. You'll have the chance to assist staff with special events, summer camps, education programs, and the daily operations of our many historic sites throughout Prince William County. For more information, check out the different site pages here on Volunteer Prince William!

You can pick the hours that work best for you. Work weekly, monthly, special events, or during the summer. Site managers will be as accommodating as possible to meet needs for school or organization service hours. We look forward to working with you!
