About this Opportunity
Help fight food insecurity. LISTEN Community Services is non-profit in need of volunteers for its Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is open Monday-Friday, Volunteers needed for shifts beginning at 9:00am and ending at 4:00pm.

We believein giving people choices and giving them the resources to make ends meet. Our goal is to provide flexibility to support as many people as possible, regardless of income. Volunteers to the food pantry need a positive attitude and the interest to work with people from a range of cultural backgrounds. Please respect and maintain client confidentiality.
- Assist shoppers-Welcome clients, explain process, answer questions, help carry food to car as needed.
- Receive Donations- Greet and thank donors. Weigh donations and record in log. Check dates on all new donations and shelve/refrigerateincoming items.
- Help unload trucks.
- Cleaning-Sort and discard unusable items/produce, clean floors and shelves as needed.
- Large Deliveries- On certain days during the month we need extra help to receive large deliveries such as USDAand NH Food Bank. This requires lifting cases of food and extra time for sorting and storing food.
