Responsibilities

• Overseeing youth wellness, interaction, and integration
• Supervise youth, family, and guests to ensure communication and interactions are respectful
• Lead youth through the program schedule and ensure participation in activities, dinner, and chore time.
• Notices individual skill levels of youth and encourages them in new ways
• Meal preparation and execution
• Ensuring food preparation spaces are sanitary and safe

Responsibilities

Austin17house is looking for capable and willing volunteers to help prepare snacks and dinner for youth, staff, and guests at the facility! We have a fully stocked kitchen, and many hungry youth and volunteers. As one of the kitchen volunteers you will be responsible for meal planning, meal prep, and meal serving, as well as breaking down for the night. We also have youth who enjoy learning/helping in the kitchen throughout the week.
