Music Therapist for our Adult Day Health Program

Providence ElderPlace PACE is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace PACE helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.

Music Therapist Volunteer for our Adult Day Health Program:We are in need of someone whocan provide music therapy forour Adult Day Health Program participants at our Redmond Center.

The right fit for this volunteer opportunity is someonewith music therapy skills who cancommit to visitsonce a week ideally-once a month also would be great!!Specifically, volunteer willhave staff support from our Recreation Therapist and other staff during the Adult Day Health Program any weekday between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm. This schedule will work well fora parent of a school aged child. It's important for all of us to haveMUSIC in our lives.

Qualifications

• Music Therapy training
• Dependable
• 16+ years of age
• Patience
• Compassion

Avirtual new volunteer orientation is required as well as a background check and medical screening for contagious diseases, including COVID 19 vaccine.
