Are you a patient, empathetic writer looking to make a meaningful impact? A thoughtful elder resident at Heritage House is seeking a kind-hearted volunteer to help bring their book to life.

This participant has a rich story to tell but experiences scattered thinking and would deeply appreciate someone who can gently guide the writing process. Youll be helping them express their ideas, organize thoughts, and type their manuscript all while offering companionship and encouragement.

They have a laptop and are eager to begin but may need occasional technical support. If youre comfortable with basic tech troubleshooting and enjoy collaborative storytelling, this is a beautiful opportunity to make a difference.

What Youll Do:

• Listen actively and help shape their narrative

• Type and organize content into a book format

• Offer gentle structure and encouragement

• Assist with basic computer tasks as needed

Ideal Volunteer:

• Patient, compassionate, and a good listener

• Skilled in writing or editing (ghostwriting experience a plus!)

• Comfortable with basic computer use

• Available for regular visits or virtual sessions
