Drive Seniors to Essential Medical Appointments During COVID-19 Outbreak - FEDERAL WAY

While many of us are practicing social distancing, there are many low-income seniors and adults with disabilities who need essential medical transportation to their cancer treatments and dialysis. If you can help even once a week, it would make a huge impact in getting our clients to their life-sustaining treatments. This qualifies as an essential service that volunteers can provide.

A little bit about Volunteer Services:
Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. VS provides volunteers who help with the living independence of low-income elders and people living with disabilities. Volunteers are matched to someone based on their interest and volunteering is done on YOUR schedule, in YOUR neighborhood! Just help once to four times a month doing housework, shopping, transportation, yard work, minor home repair, and companionship and make a huge difference in someones life.

Due to the vulnerable population we serve, volunteers must complete an application, pass a background check, and attend an online orientation.
