Volunteer opportunity: Companion for elderly woman with dementia and bipolar disorder.

Ever wondered what life would be like losing all the memories you have cherished and facing the challenge of dementia or a bipolar disorder diagnosis in old age?

We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to visit and offer companionship to our elderly female participants who could benefit from a friendly chat in a loving presence.Key responsibilities:

• Biweekly visits to engage in conversation and provide emotional support.
• A passion for crocheting is a plus as it can be a relaxing activity to share.
• kindness, patience and empathy to individuals with varying cognitive behaviors.
• Create a safe and meaningful environment where our participants feel heard and cared for.
