Play Cards with an Older Adult Virtually or in person

Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.

Volunteer Friend:We are in need of a card playing friend for an older Adult

Afemale volunteer is requested for this lovely participant:

This participant living inthe Seattle area is hoping someonewill be able to play cards, either virtually on the GrandPad tablet, or in person. She used to work game days at Lumen field for Seahawks and Sounders home games. she enjoys one on one interactions and card games.

Here's your chance to build a relationship and make a difference in someone's life. Bring joy by sharing conversations,and card games.

The right fit for this volunteer opportunity is someone whois comfortable visitingonce or twice a week or month with their friend. It's important for all of us to have a friend.

• Experience with older adults is a plus.

Avirtual new volunteer orientation is required as well as a background check, and free medical screening for contagious diseases-which includes COVID 19 vaccination. Training is offered as needed.
