About this Opportunity
As a member of the Board of Directors for Twin Cities Pet Rescue, you will play a crucialrole in providing strategic guidance and governance to the organization. Yourcommitment and active involvement will contribute to the achievement of our missionand the well-being of the animals we serve.
Time Commitment:
Dedicate approximately 10 hours per month to board-related activities, includingmeetings, event attendance, project work, and communication.
Attend quarterly board meetings.
Be responsive to email correspondence and participate in virtual discussionsbetween meetings as required.
Qualifications:
Passion for animal welfare and alignment with Twin Cities Pet Rescue's mission.
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in a board, executive, or volunteerrole.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
Financial literacy and understanding of nonprofit financial management.
Knowledge of governance best practices and legal obligations.
Willingness to commit time and resources to fulfill board responsibilities.
Term of Service:
Board members typically serve a term of three years..
