Pediatric Lobby Volunteer (Age 16 +)

Position Summary

Peoples Center is in need of volunteers to offer assistance in our Pediatrics Department.

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly in a health care setting, network with professional health care specialists and help improve the patient experience. Volunteers will observe and monitor childrens play activities; read, organize art projects, and play board games with children and organize toys and materials to ensure order in lobby area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excelled decision-making skills.
• Instructional skills.
• Experience working with children (babysitter, nanny, childcare center worker/volunteer).

Time Commitment:

• 3-5 hours per week
• Monday-Friday
