ASAP Debate Judges

Do you have good judgement? Are you looking for a way to support education in Philadelphia? ASAP/After School Activities Partnerships is looking for volunteers to act as Debate Judges so that more of our middle and high school students are able to compete at our tournaments. Anyone can judge no prior experience needed! Short orientations are held monthly throughout the school year. After attending an orientation, volunteer Debate Judges will be asked to respond to occasional emails as their time allows there is no ongoing commitment required.

Debates occur once per week on Wednesdays, from 3:30-4:40PM on Zoom.

ASAP develops and supports high-quality after school activities, including Public Forum Debate for middle and high school students to promote critical thinking, reading, writing, and public speaking through fun competitions.
