Saturday Afternoon Cashiers Needed

We are looking for customer focused friendly faces who work well with others to run the cash register in our Thrift Shop on Saturdays from 1:00-4:00p.m. Scheduling options are flexible - you can volunteer once a week, bi-weekly, or once a month.

We are looking to schedule 3-4 volunteers for this shift, so this makes it an ideal opportunity to volunteer alongside of a friend, with a small group, or as a family.

Individuals will receive training on the cash register, but should be willing to work with a variety of people and have good basic customer service skills (i.e. greet customers as they come in, handle interactions well and be friendly).

Volunteers must complete an orientation and will receive a 25% discount after volunteering 10 hours.

All proceeds from the Thrift Shop help support programs of Flat River Outreach Ministries such as our food pantry, home repair and weatherization projects, financial assistance, summer lunch program and much more.
