If you are searching for a way to make a difference in the lives of others, You Belong Here! Hospice volunteers are a valuable part of our care team. You can sign up for volunteer assignments based on your interests and preferences. You will receive volunteer orientation training to help improve the quality of life for others. Our volunteer opportunities include but aren't limited to providing companionship at a patient's bedside, making phone calls, hosting activities (Bingo, Arts & Crafts or Music Therapy), administrative duties, running errands and attending community events. Our agency offers veteran-to-veteran opportunities and participates in the national We Honor Veterans program. Our volunteer coordinator will help you discover the best fit for you.
Volunteer Requirements: Volunteer Application, Certiphi Background Check, Drug Screen, TB Skin Test and COVID-19 Vaccination. Our agency covers the cost of background check, drug screen and TB skin test.
Volunteer Shifts: 9am-11am, 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm or 3pm-5pm
Volunteer Service Areas: Benton County, De Soto County, Marshall County, Tate County and Tunica County.
