Almost Home Kids at OSF Children's Hospital of IL - Recreational Volunteer

Recreational Volunteersengage the children with play activities such as reading, puzzles, sensory toys or holding.Opportunities are available seven days a week.

Recreational Volunteer Requirements:

• Complete the online application, found on the Children's Hospital of Illinois website at,Volunteering | OSF Children's Hospital (osfhealthcare.org).
• Attend avolunteer orientation.
• Commit to a minimum of 20 hours in thefive months following orientation or one hour per week.
• Provide a printed COLOR copy of a photo ID.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Provide documentation of a negative TB test administered within the last 12 months.
• Provide documentation of a seasonal flu shot given during the current flu season October-April.
• Provide documentation of a COVID-19 vaccine.
• Those 18 yearsand above will complete a background check form at orientation.

Almost Home Kids is not an appropriate site for court-mandated service hours.
