About this Opportunity

Despite the child hunger crisis that still continues since the onset of Covid-19, we are thrilled to be able to continue providing meals to precious kids in need. However, the number of students needing meals delivered to their schools has rapidly doubled and we need your help!

As we continue to increase the number of kids we provide nutritious weekend meals to each Friday, Women Who Care Ministries needs more licensed drivers over 18 years old, with vans, mini-vans or pickup trucks, to help distribute non-perishable weekend meals to more than 2,500 precious students at various schools in Montgomery County on Mondays through Thursdays, for Friday distribution. (We provide the gas) Even if you don't have a large car/van you would be able to drive our company vehicle. Your support is greatly appreciated!

How it works: You will email us to sign up for at least a 3-hour time slot, any time from 8am-4pm, on Mondays through Thursdays. This does not have to be an ongoing commitment - you may volunteer only once, or as much as you would like. You would pick up the food from our facility, Women Who Care Community Outreach, 19642 Club House Rd, Suite 620, Montgomery Village MD 20886. For more information, and to volunteer, please call Zoie at 301-828-6850.

We will determine your route based on the size of your vehicle. No matter the size of your vehicle, we promise - - your assistance will make a great impact in ensuring kids don't go to bed hungry Thank you for your support!!!
