Tasty Treats, Happy Hearts: Snack Bag Project for Seniors

Making snack bags is a great family and group volunteer opportunity. You will buy or collect the supplies and then decorate and assemble the bags.

Charter House isan affordable housing apartment building for low-income senior citizens. The Resident Services team organizes a variety of fun activities like Open Mic night and Arts & Crafts days. Getting snack bags encourages the residents to join in the fun.

Snack bags are paper lunch bags filled with a small water bottle and 3 small snack items (crackers, Goldfish, chips, cookies, etc). Decorating the bags is fun but optional.

Charter House is located at 1316 Fenwick Lane,Silver Spring, near the Silver Spring Metro station. There is parking available. We have some flexibility in delivery dates (no weekend options). If you're interested in the project and need a different delivery time, email us at [email protected]
