Social Media Content Reviewer

Helping Hands for Humanity supports Children's Education through charitable activities.

We need volunteers to help promote and support our cause: to eradicate poverty through education.

Middle school and high school students are eligible to earn SSL hours by reviewing the content created for social media.

SSL Hours: THREE (3) Social Media Content reviewed for social media posting is eligible for an award of one(1) SSL hour upon approval by hhhumanity.org. Please follow the instructions below for specific requirements on the content reviews. These requirements must be met for the content to be approved.

Instructions :

Prior Social Media Content Creation Experience is preferred.

1. Requirements for reviewing the content:

a. Review the content created by the social media content creator

b. Review the tile, and description, including; introduction/context, message, hashtags, pictures, and links to media such as YouTube.

c. Proofread and provide edits/corrections

d. Edit and finalize the content

2. Submit the reviewed content in a document for approval by emailing to [email protected]

3. Make edits based on the review and feedback provided by hhhumanity.org

4. If you are a student volunteer requesting SSL hours, an adult representative of hhhumanity.org will review the content and the student will be awarded one (1) hr for THREE (3) approved content.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Is there a limit on number of hours? Students are limited to 4hrs per day outside of teh school hours and during the school year. 8hrs during holidays and breaks. Adults are limited to 8hrs per day

Is this approved for MCPS SSL hours?YES.

Is this opportunity still open?YES, it isstill an ongoingneed.

How willI receive my SSL hours?Eligible and verified student servicewill receive SSL form via email after your service is complete, work is reviewed and approved by hhhumnaity.org

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the students parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is not responsible for maintaining student safety and privacy. The nonprofit organization will determine the number of SSL hours awarded based on the evidence submitted. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns. This service activity is designed to be completed within the safety of the students home.
