Senior Reach Program Friendly Callers & Visitors

Reachs Senior Reach Program is currently seeking English and bilingual Friendly Caller volunteers, including Mandarin/English, Vietnamese/English, and English speakers to make weekly phone calls to one or more senior clients to provide a caring voice, to check on their well-being, and to confirm they received and are pleased with their scheduled home care services. Skills required include patience in speaking with senior citizens and the ability to complete and email reports to the program manager. Volunteers and senior clients choose the standard weekly day and time that phone calls will occur.

We are also seeking "Friendly Visitor" volunteers who will visit senior clients monthly or bimonthly for conversation, activities, or other social interaction. A background check is required.
