About this Opportunity
Small Things Matter helps 8000 food insecure children, adults, and seniors in our community through the distribution of food, books, feminine hygiene items, school supplies, clothing, and handcrafted items.
Small Things Matter will be celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month in Montgomery County on Saturday May 4 at Seneca Valley High SchoolinGermantown, MD, from11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
We are seeking HIGH SCHOOLERS to help at the Small Things Matter table (sharing about our work in the community) as well as help with the kids' crafting activities. I'm sorry but the sponsors Asian American Healthcare Initiative and Montgomery County are only allowing high schoolers to participate in this event because they have concerns about unsupervised teens. I have sent out emails to everyone who signed up about this. I apologize for this change.
