BACKGROUND:
Stones River National Battlefield coordinates several projects for community volunteers each year. Some projects are performed by groups of 15-30 volunteers such as scout groups and local college students. Other project days aim to include more than 100 volunteers as part of a nationwide event such as National Public Lands Day and Park Day.

Stones River National Battlefield needs volunteers to serve as squad bosses to lead teams of 6-10 people during these projects.
