8FM: Volunteer Customer Service Representative

The Francis Marion National Forest is looking for a volunteer customer service representative. This position is intermittent so not an every-day position. We are looking for a local individual who is interested in serving as the customer service representative in our office. Being a people person and serving the public goes a long way when in this volunteer position.

The volunteer Customer Service Representative (CSR) is to provide information services such as greeting visitors, answering telephones, responding to routine inquiries from a variety of customers, and providing overall support to the administrative staff on the unit.

As the CSR, you are the face of the Forest Service, and amazing customer service goes a long way. Volunteers work under the supervision of the support services specialist. This position is on an as-needed basis during business hours Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.
