Teach English to Seniors in Walnut Creek (Casa Montego)

Do you want to help bridge communication barriers? Volunteer to lead an English class for seniors at our Casa Montego property in Walnut Creek. Volunteer will support residents developing conversational skills in English including learning how communicate in emergencies, with healthcare providers, and other in everyday conversation. This is a great oppourtunity for those looking to gain teaching experience.

Lead 1 hour class weekly, every other week, or monthly (between Tuesday - Friday, 1pm-3pm).

Requirements: Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer a minimum of 4 months, and must complete a volunteer orientation, volunteer forms and background screening prior to beginning their placement.
